Today I am going to present a mixed vegetable which is healthy, tasty and easy to prepare!
You can make it with all the summer vegetables available during this time.
Cucumber (three hundred grams)
Pumpkin ðŸŽƒ ( around 200 grams)
Jhinga (Rige Gourd – around 200 grams)
Make a paste of all these in a mixer. And keep aside!
Now take a kadai and add some mustard oil ( you may use any other oil to suit your palate). When the oil is heated add some dry red chilli, kaalo jeera (Black Pepper) and fry for fractions of a second. Now add all the vegetables into the kadai.
Stir the vegetables well. Finally add the paste that was prepared earlier. Again stir well so that the paste coats all the vegetables well!
Add one cup milk to it.
As it gives up the water we have cook it till the excess water dries.
This is called â€˜panch-meshali-shashar jhaalâ€™ 🙂
Enjoy this dish with rice or you can have it with plain chapati!!
