Is It Just The Energy Crisis!!! PDF Print E-mail

 Energy Crisis
Yes, we are living in an energy dependent country..and so much so on OIL. As an average human being trying to make a decent living for my family...i think i am really pissed off and helpless to see the price of energy shooting up. I walked in the US when i cud fill gas in my car for less than a dollar/gallon and now I am paying close to $4.5/gallon….how outrageous and so much so I have no clue who are these buffoons who decide to control these prices. I really don’t care why I should be penalized for an unwanted war taking place way in Iraq or an uncalled Samaritan effort in Afghanistan where we are trying to find an ever elusive terrorist…..

We are trying to get a new President in the oval office…but what do we expect..a magic wand…I really don’t know, as politicians both the parties are trying to woo the innocent masses and we all are going to succumb to the charm and promises of one of them and vote him/her to office…oops there is no longer a “her”

But hey…let me posh this question..do you really think…a new president..means an end of war …end of Afghanistan…no more Iran’s and Syria’s and North Korea’s…I think we have invited this crisis and created another Vietnam in Iraq and we will need to support them for the next 10 years….

So energy crisis is just one of the major issues affecting us …but a glim political scenario is round the corner as well….

Where are the jobs!!! .where is the economy!!!..did you know Detroit is the only city in the world which has come down from the maximum number of millionaires to most number of jobless people in the world….just drive to the neighborhoods of Detroit and its suburbs, you can see the hapless situation….you can just see foreclosures around and this is just not the Midwest almost most of the US.

As a legal alien in this country, I really think most of the solution lies within the US itself and the basic premise is education..the so called young population has lost the interest…the country with great research capabilities relies on foreign talent to do most of its research…maybe somewhere this country needs an approach like China towards educating its young population in science and math….a real constructive plan…

Renewable energy is another big area which US needs to implement seriously…u might want to give the peace prize to an ex-VP..but don’t stop it there…start thinking on the lines…with the research and implementation potential around we should be able to see more biomass plants, wind and geothermal energy sources .and instead of the kick-ass trucks guzzling gas…see more hydrogen cars..

Hey am I talking of an utopian scenario…I don’t think so…feel free to add your thoughts and comments..i think you will all have much to say….

I can you to the next Obama Campaign meeting and make you speak your heart! Well, you mixed few important things really excellently and I liked your thoughts!

Fifteen years back I used to fill gas at $0.86/Gallon and today I filled fo $4.52/gallon! I must agree that Bush Administration failed to provide the basic human need and screwed up the normal life of people in USA. But it is not only Mr Bush but many were accounted for this economy and recession! I like Sen. Johny Flipflop and Sen.Obama but I don't believe all that they say! There is noway that the Iraq war can be stopped but yes, Obama will not continue with this war tili year 2050.The policies which he made might have long lasting effect (thats why he is called Abraham Lincoln Jr)and might bring huge changes the way we do our business in USA. I have no clue, how he will be able to dig oil within USA and reduce the pain of people living in USA?

But, I also do not have any Grudges against Sen Mccain and consider him better than President Bush. Mccain is favored hugely and considered as Man of Words! Dollar has effected the world economy and countries like China might face a huge blow in future. I don;t worry about India, as her future looks very bright and USA will strenghten relationship with India, especially if Sen Obama wins the Oval Office this Fall!

I still wonder if anyone would now like to recruit if the GI bill is not approved by our Great President. I really consider it unfair, as Bush administration first frabricated this war, staking more than 4000 soldier's life and then give them no benefits? It will be the biggest sin and I dont want to be a part of it! Hydrogen cars!!! Hmmmmm - GM is buyingout people to voluntarily resign so that they can start with their next project which will create Hydrogen Cars for next generation!

I know many of our readers are aware of tese issues and many don't bother. But still i encourage to put down your thoughts!

who ever comes in the power the story goin to remain more or less same. the story of detriot has not shocked me but striked me and its goin to be more or less same for rest of the country. and regardig the iraq war also i agree with that tis death game not goin to end so soon. so sumones loss is others gain. and this is the usual trend which present and previous govt. in power has continued and the effect will be long lsting on the us economy and the world economy as well.but new energy and power emerging.dont know may b in form of bio-energy and india's economic power.

I think that to receive the mortgage loans from banks you should present a great motivation. However, once I have got a consolidation loan, because I wanted to buy a house.
