Ingredients :
Chicken - 600 gms.
Chopped Garlic – 1 tbsp.
Chopped Ginger – 1 tbsp.
Chopped Onion – 2 tbsp.
Sunflower Oil - 2 tbsp.
Tomato – 1 chopped into pieces
Potato – 2 chopped
Bay leaf – 1
Garam Masala - tsp
Sugar – ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Tomato Sauce – 1 tbsp.
Pepper Powder – 1 tsp.
Turmeric(Haldi) – 1 tsp
Green Chilly – 2 slit
Method :-
Marinate chicken for 1 hour with salt pepper, turmeric, garam masala and 1 tbsp. mustard oil
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add bay leaf and green chilies
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute
Add chopped onions and ginger and fry till golden brown.
Add potatoes and add the chicken and cook for 45 minutes till tender
Add salt to taste
Add sugar and cook for another 20 minutes
Add tomato sauce and wait till gravy is ready
Serve hot with steamed rice
