A bookie in love!! Every human has a desire to reach at the top, to earn money. But he is a human(and again in a movie he is a hero), so he should fall in love(not only with money, but with his queen also).
The first time I saw the trailer of Jannat, I expected something new
from it. And ya, the story, ofcourse a bit new (if you think of cricket
booking and match fixing). The story starts with Imraan Hasmi, loosing
money in gambling. And here we came to know lady luck is required to
win a gamble (well, to Mr. Hasmi, it is obvious.. isn't it?). So our
Arjun (Imraan Hasmi) started searching his queen beside his other
“Dhanda”. Now enters Zoya (Sonal Chauhan).

Arjun's confidence and some
impossible(heyyyyyy... impossible only for normal people and not for a
hero... ok?) activities won Zoya's heart (Huh!! how nice the heroines
are, how fast they fall in love to our heros!!!). But then Arjun started betting again with his “Sixth Sense” and all of them paid. He becomes a bookie soon. We came to know his lies now (and you know... our Arjun is an inborn lier..). After that... hey man... do you think I am a storyteller? Enjoy your weekend with your friends (or girlfriend/s) in any multiplex and the screen will tell you the rest. But the only thing I can assure you, your money, may not be a big profit, but ofcourse will not be a loss.
If you are thinking of Imraan Hasmi's acting, then I must say, he did better than before. Sonal is sweet and freshness is there in her acting (well, if you think like the Indian selectors, Sonal may be your choice, but a bit more acting skill may give her more stay in our hearts). The other actors are so-so.
With a good story, and average acting by the actors (please don't be confused, average according to me, but the actors really tried their best, and you can ofcourse feel that), and some good music by Pritam, Jannat worth to watch atleast once. The songs are ofcourse nice (by the way, I should not comment on the songs I think, you all know how it is). Jannat, may be rated 2.5 out of 5 to me. Am I wrong? Hey man, go and watch it, you can ofcourse write against me here, can't you?
