Parna Editor | 2008-06-11 06:20:46 May be this movie cant be considered as all time great but comments like"it was suitable in early 80s..loks too theatrical now" cant be supported becuase most of the movies are produced based on present day scenerio in order to attract the youths who are majority viewers of movie.The director's aim is always to direct a movie which has good content as well as that would bring more return on investment.So their target is not to satisfy some people but to satisfy lakhs of people.So in that sense Sholay can always be considered a good movie not the best one.A movie of 2008 will appear to be thearitical to some viewers within next few years.
