This is a common place affair in Calcutta. Sattyajit Ray had showed this a long time back in his movie "Jana Aranya." Their relief must come from coitus, be it vaginal or anal. It is logical to surmise then that if Internet porn was freely available in these societies, their youth and perhaps adults too, would have been driven to states of extreme sexual excitement and agony! Perhaps rape of their women and young children would have been on the rise.
Counter to the above statement, one might argue that how come this is not so in USA, Canada, and Israel? Circumcised male is the norm in these societies, pornography is readily available, and yet rape is not a significant statistic. Answer lies in the high rate of premarital consensual sex and a total absence of an age old requirement for women to have intact hymens at time of marriage. Now we know why India has chosen to join the list of nations that have banned Internet porn!
Although pornography is as old as civilization in recent
years the global proliferation in internet and other media has given
pornography such a boom that it is affecting the society in big way. Although I
have nothing against pornography from a moral point of view the excessive
obsession to pornography gives rise to bad mental and physical health,

Few years back a short presentation on pornography was featured in the Bollywood movie"Kalyug"..Its easy to get rid of our responsiblity by saying that its human instinct and we cant ignore it but i believe we can atleast try...parents should teach their offsprings what is right and what is wrong...Govt atleast take actions to bann such sites for example govt should impose heavy taxes to regularise such sites...Friends plz come up with some more sugeestions...i am highly shocked with the statistics presented in the article.. 
Thanks for the statistics though I have little interest in this subject but I am quite surprised at the huge popularity of this 'gift'of internet to the human world!!!!
To supress rather demolish poverty from India u are suggesting something offensive..yes in vilage sides parents force their female offsprings in such offensive act but they have no other alternative...but promoting porn business in India will reduce poverty is really a bad bad idea...if u guys have lil emotions(generally u heartless people dont have ,u have only craving for the body) just think if u someday finf ur own wife or daughter in some offensive postion with some other man on net and u are enjoying that...Hope that will be the most pitiful moment in your life...Even among lower class people they produce a lot of children without any sort of family planning(atleast 3-4offsprings)and they feel more proud to be male on producing more offsprings...If these illiterate people become lil conscious about family planning and produce 1 to 2 offsprings then their poverty problem is solved to some extent not fully...and they are not compelled to involve their daughter or even wife in such inhuman act..Even u will find maid servants or ayas serving u have the same story behind..they have lot of children and to satisfy their daily needs they have to work...In most cases their husbands are drunkyard..they spend their income whatever they earn on hard drinks,bidis and cigerates...If this illogical males use lil of their brain and without spending their income on their addictions,spend on their daily needs their poverty problem is solved to some extent...And now speaking abt high class people where wifes prefer spending their night with someone else they are really sick people(mentally)...To satisfy their craving for luxury,comfort etc they can do anything and everything....Even some wives dont enjoy that sex pleasure from their husband than that of she gets from someone else..Even absence of husband in town for some ofc purpose or business deals gives rise to such desires...In this case I have nothing to say as luxury,comfort craving for money is such thing which grows gradually and unstoppable...I hope porn movies will not demolish poerty in such case...But adopting porn business as a weapon for demolishing poverty is not justifiable...Certainly rigid steps shud be taken by the govt to curb such porn sites,illegal cds dvds should be strictly banned just as some life saving drugs are banned...though watching porn movies dont spread AIDS like fatal diseases and keeps oneself physically fit but it distorts one's mental state...and mental diseases are uncurable as well as hereditary...
