The Ghost of Nath Villa PDF Print E-mail
Written by Deba

bhoothnathWhat do you think a ghost does? What they think as their pride? Ask a little boy (may be a PAACHVI CLASS  sawal)... and he would answer as the only motto of a ghost is to scare people... And if it can't, it becomes frastrated. This is what happened to the ghost of Nath Villa, Bhootnath (named by the little Banku).

Source : gorilla.coldfusionvideo.com
The story starts with a marine engineer(Shah Rukh Khan) with his wife (Juhi Chawla) and son, the daring Banku (Aman Siddiqui) came to Goa. SRK have to leave his family in the new apartment (or the banglow).

At night, Banku went to have a ice-cream from the freeze. And here comes the first rendezvous of Banku and the Ghost (Amitabh Bachchan). Bhootnath tried hard to scare banku. But all his efforts were in vain. Soon they two become friends.

Amitabh Bachchan, as usual, brillianly acted as the ghost. SRK, in his short appearance (with his Chak De! pony tail), did just what he could do. Juhi Chawla, Rajpal Yadav, Satish Shah, Priyanshu Chatterjee and other co-actors are as usual. Aman Siddiqui, as Banku, also acted fine.

But there is a question. A ghost, who can rearrange some heavy furnitures from one side of the room to another, can hit someone in his back, why can't it hold Banku's hand, when he was falling? Was he puzzled remembering of his own death?

Well leave it to the PAACHVI CLASS PASSes. This film is for them and if you think, you are among them, or atleast think like them, enjoy the film with them. Bhootnath and Banku will ofcourse entertain you.

well... thanks for the comments on the non-technical review... even I like to thank him, who appreciated this article just taking a single look at the picture and the name only (and not entering into the less-important details part of it).
