Yesterday I have visited CC2 after the opening on last saturday. Thought this
is the right time to visit and capture images of the mall before it
becomes crowdy on coming days. Took the other route from Saltlake side
and reached the place. The entrance and the basement parking facility are spacious
and huge. May be its because of the early days and crowd is very less.
Still I comfortably able to park the car with my very
in-experienced driving and parking skills. For your information the parking charge is free. Don't know how long this facility will be available.
The space in front of the huge mall is also huge and beautifully
designed. Only problem is use of staircases which might create problem
to elderly persons who might not feel comfortable climbing up the
staircases.
The Tea stall in front of the mall is nice place to have reasonably budgedted refreshment. We have tea and samosha costing 10 and 8 bucks repectively. Tea was really tasty and good. Two of my colleagues visited the plantaloons showroom and decided not to buy the shirt this time which did not permit their budget. But collection was good.
The view from the front of the mall was really eye shooting green as the huge empty green land still exists at the opposite side of the mall, but dont know how long. The speed in which Rajarhat improving will soon block this view as the place will be hussling and bussling soon with a 5-star hotel for the travellers from Netaji Subhash Chandra Internaltional Airport.
Some more snaps of the mall and the surrounding and adjacent places can be viewed in following link location - http://cid-c73ed9e07df15f75.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Newtown%20City%20Centre
