I am still looking for the details of how to reach that place and what would be the best way to go there. By train or private vechile or by bus  package tour. My personal choice will be touring by arranging car of our own. But need to know exactly how far the place is and what would be the cost by road as per kilometer wise or days/hour wise.  I have received these information from a website wlong with the number . But havent got any reply from any of the numbers[Phone: +91-033-2237 0060/0061/55345944] . So I am still searching for the details about the place, so that we can go and visit the place. Anyone interested joining us to visit the place are most welcome.

Garpanchkot is near to Panchet hill. This is another nice place to visit.

What I have heard about Garpanchkot (and also seen in some photos shot there) is that.. the hilly area and the forest arround the loan cottage is really something you can excite on.

If you want to go there, the most cost-effective journey is by train.

Take Black Diamond from Howrah (starts from HWH arround 6 am). Your destination by train will be either Barakar or Kumardubi. Take a car from there to panchet. The next stop to Panchet is Garpanchkot.

The train journey may cost as low as Rs. 73 only.

NB: Please book room to stay in the cottage from WBFDC before reaching there. Else you may face trouble there

I think this is a place of serenity. It is an ideal place where one can happily agree to be lost.
