The oppurtunity same when a off-site organised by the office to building up team activity. The place is not too far from this hussling and bussling city of Kolkata but still the surroundings is no different then the city life. Guess its obvious that a slight change in settings can make big difference in mind.
The arranagement was done by the department, where I had very littile role to play. So I start sharing my experience from the very day, early morning when the car from office picked me up from my home. Then onwards the journey begings via VIP road , Kaikhali ,Lauhati (This is the place where the Lauhati-Haroa road starts. The road to the
East goes to Haroa. The road to the West goes to Rajarhat and then
Kaikhali or Baguiati on VIP Road. The road to the south goes to
Bhangor/Bhujerhat.
Bus routes 91/A/B/C from Shyambazar, CTC T11 from
Dhormotala/Esplanade, DN16 from Barasat. It is 11 Km by road from
Baguiati or Kaikhali. It takes 20-25 minutes to reach at Baguaiti, or
Airport or Kaikhali) towards Vedic village.
After reacking almost noon we settle down in our individual rooms. I shared the room with one of my co-worker. The place is so different then our normal city life. All the cottage and bungalows are cleverly designed with a touch of village ambience. The surrounding place is very quiete and cool.

Apart from the sourroundings the food is good along with the swimming pool with fountain at one side of it. We enjoyed playing water sports over there. Others has enjoyed the spa and at night the place becomes realy kool . The next day we went to the games woom , enjoyed playing table tennis and other indoor games.
Then the time came to leave. This time we approched a different way back to Kolkata/Saltlake via Rajarhat 4 point crossing, Rajarhat Express way, Newtown Crossing,Technopolis, Rajarhat Sector V Crossing, Wipro Crossing, Khal Pole Crossing(Saltlake).
